Technical Management: Routine& Extraordinary maintenance
We believe that a yacht to sail well in the summer season, should be well cared for throughout the year, that’s why we are specialized in the planned maintenance and arrange specific maintenance plans for each boat, taking into account the owner's needs, the boat status and our technical-advice.
Our streght is that we can count on a team of skilled expertises that allows us to identify priorities', plan a spending budget to be shared with the Owner.
Our strength and 'have a loyal team of technicians and specialists (Electricians, mechanics, plumbers, refrigeration technicians, painters, carpenters) that, thanks to the huge job we grant them as Group, give us priority channels, very competitive costs and continuous and full availability throughout the year.
We can also follow complete refit projects and supervision of new construction.
Crew
Sirius 'first born as a company of selection, recruitment and management of seagoing personnel. Now it employs more 'than 7000 seamen coming from Italy, India, the Philippines, Romania, Russia, Croatia, Ukraine, Ireland, Morocco and Egypt.
Sirius can easily access to priority recruitment channels. In parallel, we are experts in the administrative management of the personnel, from the arrangements of contracts of employment to the processing of payrolls, not forgetting the ad hoc insurance policies, and all pension issues, as per current regulations.
Thanks to a very strong partnership with an Italian training Academy, the crewmembers can access to the mandatory trainings (safety) and optional ones (radar etc), at extremely competitive prices compared to the ones offered by the market.
Flag Adm. And Classification Societies relationship
Having direct relationships with various flag authorities, we have priority channels even with the Classification Societies (RiNa, ABS, LR, DNV-GL), so a visit for security annotations or the occasional visit, linked to an main-engine change or for a damage caused are part of our routine activities.

Our volume of orders has allowed us to select and retain over the years different suppliers, giving us as Group discounts that allows us to offer first-quality merchandise at competitive prices.

Insurance
SIRIUS YACHT MANAGEMENT cooperates since several years with an insurance broker which, thanks to the underwriting of policies with the most reputated Companies, provides preventive protections and guarantees in the settlement of claims.
Quite often, just after an unpleasant event, the customer is aware of the hidden clauses in his insurance contracts, that’s why the contractual clearness and the right proportion between the premium paid and the granted service are part of our skills that we offer to our Clients.
Administration management
Some owners ask us to manage their boat from an administrative point, so that at the end of the year they can easily check the final costs of the boat, without surprise.
The reporting activity for costs monitoring and control of the Budget / Actual / Delta are available for our customers.
ISM/ISPS MINI ISM
The present regulations are more and more oriented to a huge amount of procedures; we have developed a simple system of procedures for your crew, so that each operation is carried out with the highest security level.
For example, if the last decree referring to the medicine chest for yachts (Table A) provides the load/unloading fomr for the medicines, Sirius offers its simplified model to its Clients.
Travel Agency & Concierge Service
The Baleno Travel Agency is part of SIRIUS’ Group and operates worldwide.
Flight and hotel bookings, arrangements of any kind of transportation anywhere in the world are part of the service offered 365days / 24h-24h a day.
Upon request, we can arrange also guided shore-tours to let you find what you want upon arrival at the next port of call.
